Rememberance Service

14th November 2010- Rememberance Sunday

Firstly, I would like that thank everyone that went to the Rememberance Service this morning! You behaved wonderfully and were a credit to the group!

1st Shoebury Beavers, Cubs and Scouts paraded with the other Scout Groups, Army Cadets and Brownies among others to the Cenotaph. Here they sung the hymns and listened to sermons quietly and participated in the 2 minutes silence. Even in the rain!

Halloween Camp / Spooky Day 2010

This week end 1st Shoebury Scout Group participated in the Belchamps Sppoky Activity Day, and held their annual Halloween Camp.

The Scouts and Cubs came over from Friday to Sunday.

Saturday the Beavers arrived ready for the Belchamps Spooky Activity Day and everyone had a fab time joining in on all the activities, such as climbing the climbing and high ropes, bouncing on bouncy castles, riffle shooting and archery! After lunch, everyone was back doing even more activities, and thoroughly enjoying themselves before the Beavers were picked up and taken home muddy, tired but happy!
