1st Shoeburyness Scout Group is a scout group made up of three sections, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Scouts. We are located in Shoeburyness and offer a wide range of activities for young people to participate in!

Family Camp

June 6, 2012
Family Camp 2012 was a great success, thank you to the wonderful leaders for all the hard work put in.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side for most of the weekend, but we did get some blinding sunshine on Saturday for the 'It's a Knockout!' were everyone got soaking wet and cover in bubbles and shaving foam! Well done to the red team for their win on this event.

The walk through the wood was enjoyed by everyone on Sunday and of course roasting marshmallows on the campfire at night. But it was safe to say that the weekend was enjoyed by all that attended, and we all look forward to next year!!

2012!

Well, we are well into the New Year now and already 1st Shoebury has been up to a whole host of activities!

February saw our annual Winter Camp for the Cubs and Scouts, but this time with thick snow! That definitely made the hike to the bowling alley more interesting, though certainly not less enjoyable.

This weekend is our first Group Camp. This camp is for all the young people in the group, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. This should be an enjoyable weekend uniting all the young people, and will ...

Halloween Party!

October 19, 2011

Last night was the Annual Halloween Party for 1st Shoebury Cubs!

All the Cubs looked fab in their spooky costumes and they had a great time playing loads of party games and eating tonnes of party food!

Well done to Vikki and Dillon for coming first and second in the Fancy Dress Competition, you guys were the scariest!

Halloween Party!

October 19, 2011

Last night was the Annual Halloween Party for 1st Shoebury Beavers!

Everyone was dressed up in their spooky costumes, had a great time playing loads of party games and eating tonnes of party food!


Well done to Alfie and Harmanie for coming first and second in the Fancy Dress Competition, winning the two pumpkins (expertly carved by Gemma!).
